THE POINTER BOAT IS BACK FOR THE SUMMER OF 2021
The Pointer Boat is the last of its name. From 1930 until 1962, there were a total of three different vessels, all called The Pointer. These vessels acted as primary sources of transportation for residents of the Harbor Point association since cars were not allowed. In May of 1990, Stafford Smith and Dudley Marvin of Stafford’s Hospitality re-launched the last of the three yachts. Today, the Pointer Boat is sailing strong and has been completely upgraded to meet the United States Coast Guard standards in 2021.
Starting Thursday, May 27 you can cruise on Lake Michigan with some of the finest First Mates around. Tours can also be catered by Stafford’s with hors d’oeuvers, sandwiches, entrées, and beverages. Sorry, no outside food or beverage allowed.
